Competency in planning and conducting different types of risk reviews (e.g., sampling, deep-dives, ISO reviews). Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with, build relationships and manage a variety of technical and non-technical business stakeholders at all levels. Enjoys keeping up to date with regulatory compliance within a complex changing landscape. Relevant risk management experience gained either from within a change assurance, risk (1st and 2nd line of defence), compliance or audit environment within a regulated industry. Responsible for the day-to-day people management. 
Responsible for the maintenance of the company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification to drive quality management into the business, including the internal reviews undertaken by direct reports and the audits conducted by the certification body and ensuring any audit findings are followed up and resolved. 
Acting as deputy for Head of Operational Risk and Resilience, where required. Presenting risk and control framework reporting for the Operational Risk Committee and other forums as required, to illustrate how the current control environment is performing and to escalate risk issues to the relevant stakeholders. Identifying and driving areas of control improvement for key processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all policies and standards. Acting as a Risk Management subject matter expert providing support, education and training to colleagues across the global organization, and at all levels, to improve the risk culture across the business. Planning and leading specialist deep dives/thematic reviews to identify process and control weaknesses and/or non-adherence to Policy and Standards, with the output to include making recommendations that will materially improve the TU-UK risk and control framework and/or pro-actively identifying the root cause of non-adherence and creating action plans to address. Engaging with various business owners to facilitate the creation, maintenance and management of risk registers, including best-practice guidance on risk identification and assessment, risk and control articulation, risk mitigation plan development and the annual Risk & Control Self-Assessment. 
Establishing, maintaining and managing the 1st line Risk Management Framework across all TU UK and Lithuania business areas, operating in the context of the 2nd line Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
